Couple travels country in 130-square-foot tiny house sponsored by Dow Chemical

Over the last year or more, Alexis Stephens and Christian Parsons have gotten rid of almost everything they owned.

They gave their stuff to friends, to charity. They sold what they could at flea markets.

Then they moved out of a “big” 900-square-foot home in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and moved into a 130-square-foot tiny house sponsored, in part, by the Dow Chemical Co.

In 130 square feet, Stephens and Parsons managed to fit a kitchen, a bathroom, a living space and a loft bedroom.
