Little Cabin Under a Treehouse
We have created a simple, restful retreat, where one can experience the novelty of a tiny house. The Little Cabin is nestled under a cluster of red oaks that has a multilevel tree house and is situated overlooking the Trade River, in the rolling hills of Northwest Wisconsin, half way between Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN & Duluth, MN.
The Little Cabin is a salvaged “summer kitchen” remodeled into a simple, studio retreat. There is a wood burning fireplace (firewood is provided) with a small, sleeping loft area with a skylight and gable end window for outdoor viewing (there is a lot of wildlife in the area). There is also a pull-out, hide- a-bed/sofa. The cabin interior has pine bead board paneling, salvaged, maple flooring (dated 1898, from a warehouse in Minneapolis, MN). There are stained glass wall cabinets with counter-top space. There is electricity in the cabin and for your use a microwave oven, TV with DVD player, fans, under-cabinet radio & CD player. The plumbing facilities are very simple, drinking water is provided in a water dispenser and the toilet is an outside port-a-potty with hand sanitizer & lotion dispensers.
