Randolph Couple Embrace Simple Life in Tiny Home
Donna Stepien and Ignacio Villa’s home has everything a typical house does: a sink, a stove, a bed, a table. Countertops. Cabinets. Stairs. A bookshelf. Paintings on the walls. Photos perched on a windowsill.
What makes their home different is that it all fits into just 200 square feet.
The couple has lived in this tiny house for just more than a year, embracing a sustainable lifestyle and hoping to leave a smaller footprint. The house is on property that includes a 2,100-square-foot house, an attached studio apartment, and barn.
“The grandchildren think it’s cool,” said Stepien, a mother of two and grandmother of five. “The children think we’re crazy.”
