Shelton State students build “tiny house” for Salvation Army
Students at Shelton State Community College, along with a local construction company, worked together to build what they call a “tiny house” for a good cause.
On Tuesday, the house was donated to the Salvation Army. Officials then moved the tiny house over to the Salvation Army headquarters on University Boulevard in Tuscaloosa.
The house is on display so potential buyers can purchase it. The proceeds will be used to help the Salvation Army build a shelter at Greensboro Avenue.
