This Tiny Nashville Cottage Has Room for Everything
It feels much bigger than it is thanks to some smart design — and the view.
When you’re on vacation, you just don’t need much room. After all, your schedule should be filled with day trips, naps, and fabulous meals. Or absolutely nothing. With that in mind, a petite cottage is the perfect alternative to the typical hotel room.
Located in the countryside of Nashville, Tennessee, this house comes in at 480-square-feet. Like many small houses, it maintains a feeling of spaciousness through a neutral color palette and a predominantly open floor plan. (There’s also a separate bedroom and a lofted “guest room.”) But, the furniture is organized into dedicated areas for eating, gathering, and relaxing, utilizing every inch of space without adding clutter.
Plus, the place is surrounded by a horse pasture, which is basically the definition of bucolic. The owners implore that the horses are to “admired but not ridden,” but that sounds just fine to us.
